Booking Policy

Welcome to TourGoat Samui. This Booking Policy outlines the terms and conditions for booking tours and activities through our platform. By making a booking, you agree to comply with all terms stated herein.

1. Booking Requirements

Advance Booking Required

All bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled tour start time. Same-day bookings are not available through our online booking system. For urgent bookings or last-minute requests, please contact us directly via WhatsApp at +66 83 502 1979.

Required Information

  • Full name of all participants
  • Contact email address
  • Contact phone number (preferably WhatsApp-enabled)
  • Hotel name and address for pickup (if applicable)
  • Room number (if applicable)
  • Number of adults and children
  • Any special requirements or dietary restrictions

2. Payment Terms

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Processed securely through Stripe
  • PayPal: Available for international customers
  • Cash: Available for office payments and cash-on-tour options (subject to tour operator approval)

Payment Processing

  • All prices are displayed in Thai Baht (THB)
  • Bookings are confirmed upon successful payment receipt
  • A booking confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address
  • Payment processing fees may apply for card transactions (3% processing fee)
  • Stripe fees (5%) are included in the final price

Important Payment Note

Payment processing fees are non-refundable. In case of cancellation, refunds will be processed to the original payment method, minus any applicable processing fees.

3. Booking Confirmation

Upon successful payment, you will receive:

  • A booking confirmation email with your booking reference number
  • A PDF ticket/receipt (excluding VAT information for customer-facing documents)
  • Tour details including meeting point, time, and what to bring
  • Contact information for tour operator and TourGoat support

Please check your email (including spam folder) immediately after booking. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 30 minutes, please contact us.

4. Changes to Bookings

Changes to bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional fees:

  • Date/Time Changes: Must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. Subject to availability and may incur a change fee of 500 THB per booking.
  • Participant Changes: Adding or removing participants is subject to tour capacity and pricing differences.
  • Tour Changes: Changing to a different tour is treated as a cancellation and new booking, subject to cancellation policy.
  • Special Requests: Dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, or special requirements should be communicated at least 48 hours before the tour.

5. Tour Availability & Weather Conditions

Tour availability is subject to:

  • Weather Conditions: Tours may be cancelled or modified due to adverse weather (heavy rain, storms, high waves, etc.) for safety reasons.
  • Minimum Group Size: Some tours require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum is not met, you will be notified and offered alternatives.
  • Operational Issues: Equipment maintenance, boat availability, or other operational factors may affect tour availability.
  • Seasonal Variations: Some tours may not be available during certain seasons or weather conditions.

Weather-Related Cancellations: If we cancel a tour due to weather or operational issues, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

6. Age Requirements & Restrictions

  • Children: Child pricing applies to ages 4-11 years. Children under 4 may be free or require special arrangements depending on the tour.
  • Minors: Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • Physical Requirements: Some tours require a minimum level of physical fitness. Please check tour descriptions for specific requirements.
  • Medical Conditions: Participants with medical conditions, disabilities, or pregnancy should consult with us before booking to ensure tour suitability.
  • Swimming Ability: Water-based tours may require basic swimming ability. Non-swimmers should inform us in advance.

7. Liability & Responsibility

TourGoat acts as an intermediary between customers and tour operators. By booking a tour, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • TourGoat is not liable for any injuries, accidents, losses, or damages that may occur during tours.
  • Participants are responsible for their own safety and must follow all safety instructions provided by tour guides and operators.
  • Participants must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect their participation.
  • TourGoat is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings during tours.
  • Participants engage in activities at their own risk and should have appropriate travel insurance.
  • Tour operators are independent entities, and TourGoat is not responsible for their actions, equipment, or services beyond facilitating the booking.
